Hawes Construction Ltd are a general building company specialising in extensions, renovations, loft conversions, kitchen extensions, kitchen supply and fitting, all other building works catered for. The company was established in 2002. The Director Matthew Hawes however has been in the construction industry since 1988.

On leaving school he undertook an apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner with H J & A Wright of Great Missenden, working on distinguished projects such as Hughendon and Waddesdon Manor. In 1993 he returned to college part time and completed an HNC in Building Technology. On graduating, he continued to study full time for a degree in Construction Management, graduating in 1997 with a 2:1 hons.

On completion of his degree, he joined a large national building company as a Site Manager, working in London with prominent clients such as Sir Terence Conran (Great Eastern Hotel, Liverpool St Station) and Dr K Shuttleworth (The Crescent House), a senior partner with Sir Norman Foster. His final project was a 10 million pound office development in Leatherhead. In 2002 he formed Hawes Construction Ltd and is currently undertaking building and extension projects in the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire area.

The company is a member of the federation of master builders which is the UK's largest trade association in the building sector.

Hawes Construction Ltd is covered by full Public Liability and Building Insurance. Our In-house carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers and ground workers and all our sub-contractors are tried and tested, having completed many successful extensions and projects with Hawes Construction Ltd.
